Recorded amidst flickering candles in the lovely studio A at Camden studios Dublin. We recorded layers of guitar feedback in the corridor upstairs, echoing down the red metal spiral staircase when there was no one there which was a magical process, and experimented with Ebow and rummaging random pedals from a dark suitcase !

This song is about how humans imbue feelings of spirituality and healing through statues, figures and inanimate objects. The image in the photo is of a doll donated to the museum where I used to work , we called it the 'God' doll, as it spent its life in a shrine in a church. It made me think of all the people gazing at it in adoration over the years, which inspired this track.

Recorded at Camden Recording Studios in Dublin with thanks to FMC Ireland Recording Stimulus funding, , a track from my new upcoming album.
